Storage & Shelf Life

Store in a cool, dry place (or refrigerated) for a full 180-day shelf life from the date stamped on your box. Cups can also be frozen for up to a year — just avoid refreezing once thawed. At this volume, our guide to storing prefilled communion cups can help your team stay organized and use older stock first.

Ingredients & Allergens

Grape Juice: Made from concentrate. Concord grape juice is a dark purple, richly flavored juice produced from mature, unfermented Concord grapes that are pressed, clarified, and detartrated. Water and sodium benzoate (a food-grade preservative) are added.

Bread: Flour, salt, water, canola oil.

Contains: Wheat. This is not a gluten-free product — if your congregation needs a gluten-free option, see our full gluten-free lineup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 1,200 units the right size for a large or multi-site church?

It depends on your total attendance across services or campuses and how often you serve Communion. Our How Many Communion Cups Do I Need? guide can help with planning at this scale.

Do larger quantities cost less per unit?

Yes. As quantity increases, per-unit pricing decreases, so larger cases like this one offer better value per cup.

How should we store this much inventory?

Keep cases in their original packaging in a cool, dry place, and rotate stock so older supply is used first. Our storage guide covers this in more detail.

How is Chalice different from Simply or Elements?

All three offer prefilled Communion with easy-open sealing, but presentation and element combination differ. Our Chalice vs. Simply vs. Elements guide breaks down the differences.
